Do you find that your Bottom Fill Humidifier is leaking? Usually this is a sign that there is possibly a crack in the plastic or a seal has broken.
Have any essential oils or additives been used inside the unit? Do you see any visible cracks on the unit?
- Please fill the water tank with water and hold it over a sink. Check to see if there is any water leaking out. Then reverse and check with the lid facing the floor. Please look on the inside of the lid that goes on the water tank and make sure that the gasket is securely in place. You can also pour water in just the base area and let it sit for a couple of hours to see if water leaks out of the base.
- Make sure that the unit is sitting on a hard, flat surface with nothing under it (blanket, towel, etc.). You may also notice wetness around the unit if it is placed on the floor. It should never be placed on carpet. Check the mist setting to make sure that it isn’t set too high which could be mistaken for the unit leaking if you notice water around the unit.
