Does the front grill of a Lasko heater get hot?

Lasko takes the safety of our products very seriously. We have developed technology that allow our space heaters housings to be cool to the touch. In other words, the sides and the back of the unit is not hot to the touch. 

While this is a great safety feature, it is important to note that the section of the Lasko heater for which the heat is expelled from the unit WILL be hot to the touch. This is because there are high temperatures of heat constantly being expelled from the heater which will cause the front grill to become hot to the touch. Be sure to place the heater in an area in your home that is away from pets and children to prevent the front grill from being accidentally touched. Lasko additionally makes reference to this in the instruction manual for our space heaters (see below)
