The cord for my heater is warm

It is completely normal for a cord of a heater to be warm. When running at its maximum output, a heater can use up to 1,500 watts. In many cases this is more electricity than what is used for most microwaves. For this reason, with high levels of current flowing through the heater cord, it is normal for it to be warm to the touch.
