Are Air King Bathroom Exhaust Fans Rated for Continuous Use?

“Continuous use” truly has two interpretations:

1. Can the fans run continuously? The short answer is, Yes. All Air-King exhaust fans can operate continuously. Permanently connected fans intended to for unattended use (like ceiling insert bathroom fans) are only approved this way. 

2. “Continuous” operation or “Intermittent” operation applies in some local or state/provincial mechanical and or building code requirements that stipulates that any exhaust fan used to provide the required mechanical ventilation for a home must be rated at a specific sone level (sound level of 1 sone or less in the case of ASHRAE 62.2 standard).
