LIN blowers can be a bit cumbersome to try and clean, however, below is a step by step process on how to do so. We strongly recommend this be done professionally, but should you look to clean yourself, please note this is a 2-3 person job to complete.
Be careful when removing the blowers because they must be removed and replaced back in the correct location. (Left vs. Right)
- Unplug the blowers from the power supply.
- Be sure to intentionally pay attention to the wiring to ensure the wires are not damaged.
- Remove the (8) outer screws from the inside of the hood.
- The blowers are heavy so someone should support the blowers while removing and it is a two person job.
- Locate the keyhole and move the blower housing to the side to align the keyhole for removal.
The blowers are heavy and therefore we recommend they be cleaned professionally.
