Can I use my fan in a Surge Protector, Power Strip or any other cord connected device?

Lasko takes the safety of our customers very seriously. We also understand the importance of safe usage of your Lasko fan. For this reason, we do not recommend using the fans in any cord connected devices. The unit should be plugged directly into a 120V wall outlet. Using a fan in this manner can damage your product and may even void your warranty. Below is the mention made in each fans instruction manual that pertains to this usage.
