You may have recently purchased a new range hood, or are looking to replace the filters on your existing range hood. Here are some informational items that might help:
If you have a ducted Range Hood (exhausts air outside) then you will only need to use a grease filter only. The grease filter will help to catch grease from your cooking.
If you have a ductless Range Hood (filters the air inside of the home), then you will want to use a charcoal filter (filters the air of odors) and a grease filter. The grease filter should be placed on the outside of the filter holder, closest to the cooking range and the charcoal filter should be placed inside of the grease filter, facing the inside of the range hood.
We hope this helps with the placement, and type of filter to use with your Air King Range Hood.
