Misto Fan leaking water?

Here are some steps to try if you find your unit leaking water from the misting assembly:

1. Check to make sure the fitting that is screwed into the water misting manifold has the blue quick release ring (indicated by RED arrow in pictures below). If it does, please go to step #2. If not, please contact our customer service team at the link HERE to order a replacement misting kit assembly. 
2. Push the black hose firmly into the fitting until it cannot be pushed any further.
3. Ensure the blue quick release ring is extended outward.  It should only be out a couple millimeters at most from the metal fitting.
4. Pull firmly on the black hose attempting to pull it out of the fitting.  If it does not pull out, then it is locked in properly and should not leak.

If there is still a leak after going through the above steps, please inspect the end of the hose going into the fitting to make sure it’s not damaged. If it is damaged, then please cut off the damaged part. We recommend using a sharp pair of scissors for safety reasons.
