How long/often can I run my Guardian humidifier?

With proper care and maintenance, you may leave the humidifier running 24/7. We do recommend turning the unit off and unplugging it once a week for cleaning. We also recommend turning the unit off and unplugging it if you will be gone for an extended period of time, overnight for example. We also recommend not letting water sit in the unit when not in operation for longer than 1-2 days to prevent residue and build up. You should empty all water out of the unit and let all parts out to air dry.
