How to remove a Pop Rivet

Some Air king fans use pop rivets to secure the feet to the bottom of the fan, or to the yoke of the fan. These rivets are used as they are resistant to vibration and have low-profile heads for a cleaner look. In some cases, a part might need to be replaced and these rivets be removed. The best way to apply a rivet is to use a drill to first drill out the existing rivet, if applicable. Once the existing is drilled out, you will need to use a rivet gun to assemble the new rivet in its place.
