How does the ionizer work?

An air ionizer cleans the air in a room by electrically charging air molecules. Air ionizers use ions to remove particulates, microbes, and odors from the air. These ionizers do not need to be removed and cleaned. Routine product cleaning is ample enough. 

The ionizer, when activated will turn on an indicator light on the unit. This light will stay on identifying that the ionizer is active until the button is pressed again or the unit is turned off. At that point, the ionizer light will turn off. When turning the unit off and back on, the ionizer must be reactivated by pressing the "ION" button.
