Air Purifier not turning on? Try the below steps to get your Air Purifier back up and running quickly.
- Try unplugging the unit from the wall, wait 10-15 minutes and then plug the unit into a separate outlet in an alternate room.

Are you using a Genuine Guardian Filter? Not sure? Click HERE for help to determine. The reason we ask this question is that some of our Guardian Air Purifiers have an activation switch that is engaged when the filter frame is inserted. Often times generic filter frames and filters will not activate this safety switch.

Is your filter old? Older and dirty filters can warp, causing them not to activate the safety switch. Try replacing your filter with a Genuine Guardian filter.

It could also be not turning on because the unit may be in ECOmode.

If the AQI is 10 or less, the motor will turn off for 30 minutes (the AQI must stay below 10) and then it will turn on to fan speed 1 for 5 mins. If the AQI is still 10 or below after this, then the motor will shut off again and the cycling of 30 minutes off, and 5 minutes on will repeat until the AQI goes above 10.

To exit auto mode, simply press the Fan Speed button to cycle through the remaining speed levels.
Below are some examples of this activation switch. This can vary from unit to unit, however, if the filter is not positioned properly, or the filter is generic, it is likely this switch is not being activated:
