Should you encounter a situation where you are trying to pair your Guardian device using the Aria application, and the device is not showing in the application, we have included a couple of steps below that might help.
Step 1: Make sure your Bluetooth and WiFi are turn on on your smartphone. Making sure your WiFi is not set to the 5Ghz speed and your phone is connected to that WiFi. (If you only have one option, that is fine)
Step 2: Turn on your Guardian device (press power button on device) and press the "WiFi" button on your Guardian device
Step 3: Is the light blinking RED?
- If YES - Open the Aria app on your smartphone and click "Add Device" or "+" button
- If NO - Press and hold the "WiFi" button on the Guardian device until the light begin blinking RED.
- Once it is, Open the Aria app on your smartphone and click "Add Device" or "+" button
*If your device is still blinking blue even after following the above steps, you may have entered the wrong password. Try holding down the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking red and try again. You may also have connected to credential to a 5GHz WiFi network. Hold down the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking red and try again. Your router settings need to be changed to ensure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz network. Contact your internet provider for further instructions.
