Please try the following troubleshooting suggestions.
- Please unplug the humidifier.
- Remove the water tank, there is a small spring on the lid, make sure the spring moves easily. Make sure the gasket is secure on the inside of the lid.
- Drain any excess water from the base area. Pour 100% white vinegar and water into the base area over the ultrasonic disc.
- Let the vinegar solution soak in the disk area for 10-15 minutes, then use the brush provided and gently clean the disk (if you no longer have the brush then you can use a soft bristle toothbrush). Drain the excess vinegar solution. You can rinse the base with water if needed.
- In the base of the humidifier, where the ultra-sonic disk is located, next to it is a small pole with a circular part around it, this is the float, make sure the circular piece moves easily (not the pole).
- Take the base of the unit and tap it a couple of times on a hard surface to re-align the fan.
- Reassemble, making sure the water in the tank is room temperature and the tank is not over filled. Make sure the tank is securely in place. Please plug the product in, turn on and set to warm humidification (if your machine has a warm mist option) for at least 1 hour.
